Typically woman who suffer from PCOS develop a number of cysts around their ovaries (polycystic). PCOS can affect women in many ways ranging from infertility and excess body hair to cardiovascular and metabolic issues. PCOS is one of the most common endocrine conditions and affects roughly 4%-8% of women of reproductive age.
