Menopause is a natural process of the aging female reproductive system, which is defined as a permanent end to the menstruation cycle. For women in the U.S and U.K., the average age of menopause is 50 to 51 years old.

While some women experience minimal discomfort during menopause, others can experience more severe menopause symptoms including hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and sleep disorders.
